Educator & Researcher

I'm looking for participants:
I’m a dyslexic PhD researcher at the University of Birmingham, and I’m inviting undergraduate students with Dyslexia studying on coursework-based degree programmes in the UK to take part in a longitudinal research study exploring coping strategies, confidence, and academic experiences across the academic year.
What’s involved?
-
Three online interviews across the academic year (September, January, and May)
-
Flexible and informal conversations about your experiences as a dyslexic student
-
Opportunity to reflect on your learning approaches and coping strategies over time
-
Access to a coping strategies pack developed from lived experience and findings from previous graduate research
-
Regular supportive check-in emails throughout the year
-
A £50 voucher upon completion of all three interview stages
Why take part?
-
Reflect on the strategies that support your learning and coursework
-
Help improve understanding and support for dyslexic students in higher education
-
Contribute to research shaped by lived experience
Participation is flexible, supportive, and designed to fit around university life. Your experiences and insights are valuable and could help shape future support for dyslexic students.
